CMTI has announced two categories of project-based positions under this recruitment notification.

The stipend is consolidated. House Rent Allowance (HRA) is payable at 20% of the respective stipend. No other benefits are specified for these positions.

1. Project Associate-I

The Project Associate-I position is intended for candidates who have completed a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and are interested in working on technical and engineering projects.

The following technical knowledge and experience are desirable for this position:

• Experience in calibration of instruments.

• Knowledge of CAD software such as Creo, SolidWorks or NX.

• Familiarity with measuring machines such as Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), Universal Length Measuring Machines (ULM) and Video Measuring Systems (VMS).

2. Project Assistant-II

The Project Assistant-II position is intended for candidates who have completed a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and meet the prescribed eligibility conditions.

Maximum Age: 30 years as on 31 October 2026.

Age Limit and Important Cut-Off Date

The maximum permissible age depends on the position:

• Project Associate-I: 35 years.

• Project Assistant-II: 30 years.
